New $35 Billion Passenger Terminal in Dubai Greenlit by Mohammed bin Rashid for Design Approval and Commencement

During his visit to the Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, oversaw the strategic plan and endorsed designs for the new passenger terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport. Once completed, this terminal will claim the title of the world’s largest, accommodating an annual passenger capacity of 260 million.

The project, with an estimated cost of AED128 billion, was also attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, as well as H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance.
